Woolwich: Dunkin' Donuts Opens Its Doors In Powis Street

World-famous baked goods and coffee chain Dunkin’ Donuts opened its doors in Woolwich over the weekend.

The American which maintains presence worldwide with nearly 11,000 restaurants in 33 countries, opened its doors at 26-28 Powis Street, Woolwich, on Saturday.

As reported by Woolwich Online Friday, 30 May 2014 The Woolwich branch is the fourth in the UK, and is being run by franchisees Court Group, which also operate the Dunkin’ Donuts branches in Chelmsford and Cambridge.

Aziz Tejpar of Court Group, said: “We are all really excited about opening in Woolwich, this is a great place and we look forward to serving local people with our varied menu of food and drink.

“We have created 19 jobs, and our new team has been hard at work training at our other restaurants. Although people associate Dunkin’ with donuts and coffee, we offer much more including our frozen coffees and fruit Coolattas that are very popular in summer.”

The Woolwich restaurant offers and serves a wide range of hot and iced beverages, including Dunkin’ Donuts’ Original Blend Coffee and tea, as well as an assortment of breakfast and all-day sandwiches, baked goods, all-day snacks, and grab-and-go products.

The menu also includes items specially tailored to the UK, including Sausage Butties, Bacon Butties, Porridge and Hot Croistrami™ Sandwiches. Dunkin’ Donuts also offers healthy choices from its DDSMART® lineup, including Latte Lite, Egg & Cheese Wake Up Wraps and Multi-Seed Bagels.

The Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant is open 7am-7pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am-5.30pm Sundays and Bank Holidays.
