Woolwich: Invitation To Summer Festival: GDIF Brings Teatr Osmega Dnia To Royal Arsenal

The Greenwich and Docklands International Festival is here again with another captivating performance.

Last year GDIF Tangled Feet brought the "One Million" Performance to Woolwich. One year later on June 28, 2014, they are returning with "Arka" from Teatr Osmega Dnia (a.k.a Theatre of the Eighth Day) the Polish Theatre group known for their captivating performances.
 
The public is invited to this fantatistic performance which begins with a giant winged ship seting sail through the streets and accompanied by thrilling fire effects and haunting Balkan wedding music.
 
The music and performance will tell a powerful story of the scattering of communities in war and is set to run for approx 60 minutes. It is being brought to Woolwich FREE.

 (Venue is wheelchair accessible)
 
Time:   10:00 PM
 
The performance is audio described and there will be headsets available at the info point (with deposit of course).
 
The venue is accessible by Trains through National Rail/DLR, and Buses to the Woolwich Town Centre and by both through the Thames Clipper Service to the Royal Arsenal Pier.
