With the FIFA World Cup over, focus returns to the  Premier League, as the new season prepares to resume.

And, with Luis Suarez almost certainly leaving the Premier League, no one will perhaps, be more in the public eyes than new Manchester United boss Luise van Gaal.

Van Gaal ended his Brazil 2014 campaign on a high, after guiding the Netherlands team to third spot on Saturday. Netherlands beat Brazil 3:0.

Suarez has reportedly put pen on paper (or is expected to do so soon) in a £75million deal with Real Madrid, even though he will not be officially unveiled by the spanish giants until he finishes his four month ban, slammed on him by FIFA for biting Italian star Georgio Chiellini during their quarter-final clash.

The victories of both Germany and Netherlands meant two European countries made records in the same tournament outside of European soil.

His achievement in Brazil, no doubt meant Luise van Gaal proved his mettle and his arrival on a high at the Premier League, looks exactly like what the doctor ordered for a club like Manchester United, where he will start to rebuild the team.

The next season already looks excitingly promising for Manchester United - for the Premier League, as Arsenal builds on the gains of its £42million acquisition of Mesut Ozil.

Arsenal has already bought Chilean star, Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona for a reported £30m, and Alex says he joined to win titles.  And on the heals of that deal, Arsenal is hoping to spend another £20m on German star, Sami Khedira, after their successful world cup campaign at Brazil 2014.
