Woolwich: McDonald’s Restaurant Closes For Shop Reboot in Town Centre

The Powis Street shop of McDonald’s Restaurant will close for two weeks to enable workmen refit the shop, the Restaurant has announced.

Thursday, October 9 to 22 October. It will REOPEN on 23rd October, 2014.
The closure will be effective between Thursday 9th and 22nd October, 2014. It will reopen on the 23rd of October.

The improvement will bring in a mix of high tech and normal convention into the ordering system and food will be freshly prepared.

Announcing the closure, the shop told its customers “Your new McDonald’s is being freshly prepared.”
 
The restaurant said “when we reopen; every burger, wrap or sandwich you order will be freshly prepared for you”, adding “There will be a new way to order at our kiosks, or you can order at the counter as usual.
 
The new ordering system will be made possible by new interactive tablets on which customers can play games and even browse online while they enjoy their food.
 
Existing and new customers seeking to eat in McDonald’s Restaurant are advised that their nearest chance is at the group’s 24hr drive-through, located at Pettman Crescent, besides the Plumstead Bus Garage.
