DISCOVER LONDON’S NEWEST CULTURAL DESTINATION

You are invited to discover London’s newest cultural destination, The Royal Arsenal, Woolwich with a unique chance to explore a number of outstanding heritage buildings closed to the public. These buildings are at the heart of the Royal Borough’s ambitious vision to create a significant cultural and heritage quarter.

A special Thames Clipper boat service will be leaving Westminster Pier at 10am and arriving in Woolwich for 11am.

Take in the sights of London and experience Royal Greenwich from the water, proudly boosting the longest waterfront in London.

A return boat service will be available at 1pm, arriving at Westminster Pier for approximately 13.30pm.

The borough is working hard to attract high quality and innovative arts and cultural organisations to the Royal Arsenal by securing the leases on a number of outstanding heritage buildings that offer the exciting potential to establish world class cultural facilities.

The cultural and heritage quarter will cement the transformation of Woolwich which has benefited from a decade of regeneration including new transport links, significant investment in residential, leisure and business development.

Enjoy a performance by Shechter Junior, an exciting apprentice programme from Hofesh Shechter Company, representing the very best of a talented new generation of young dancers.

Shechter Junior will be performing a piece from the Four Fridas, the latest outdoor spectacular to be delivered in Woolwich (1-4 July 2015) by Greenwich+Docklands International Festival’s Artistic Director Bradley Hemmings, who also co-directed the Opening Ceremony to the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
