Rachel Dolezal Deserves To Be World-Widely Known. She’s A Hero, say son

by Sonny Jones  | Life and Living

She may have come under serious attack that led to hard knocks here and there, but Rachel Dolezal, who was recently outed by her parents as `White' deserves to be famous and `world-widely known', her son told NBC television during an interview.

Meeting fans on arrival in New York, Rachel Dolezal feels she is black.
The teenage boy said her mom, who was forced to resign as leader of the Charity that looks after the interests of minorities and coloured people, National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People NAACP), following the revelation of her true race by her parents.

Her parents said she was raised as white and they do not understand why she presents herself as Black.  On the other hand, Rachel Dolezal said she considers herself black and have always felt so since she was five years old.  She said she identifies herself as a black too.

It is therefore coming as a huge boost to her self confidence at least that her own son feels the way she feels too.

According Necole Bitchie, Dolezal is officially a star now because following the controversy surrounding the fact that she’s been living as a white woman, but  posing as black, the former NAACP Spokane President was met by fanfare and a ton of cameras as she landed in New York City for a round of highly anticipated interviews, including  The Today Show with Matt Lauer.

And she also brought along her son, as well as her adopted brother (who she is raising as her son) for support.

Bitchie said that just like she told us last week, the tan skinned, kinky-haired ‘transracial sista’ is pretty positive that she’s a black woman, reiterating her identification once again for the national audience.

The problem is, while Rachel was on her press tour telling what she said was ‘her truth,’  her adopted brother Ezra was also making his rounds in New York while claiming that every single thing Rachel has said, and is saying about her life is a complete lie.

Dolezal has refused to apologise, saying she feels she is black, but while her son gives her support, her adopted brother toes the line of her parents in rebutting her story, claiming that all of the things sited as evidence of her 'feeling black' are recent.

What can you learn from that  and why does it matter whether she is a new or old convert?  Well it seems that some people are eagre to give her a bad name.  For now, she will have to ride the storm while the world await the outcome of the saga.
