A Hive of Innovation and Creativity is what you will see first at the official websites of UK Pavilion in Milan 2015. The UK Pavilion at the Milan Expo is celebrating GREAT things #GrownInBritain - today on UK National Day

The events today is being used to highlight how the UK has built a reputation for being a welcoming, diverse and open nation, and as a destination for businesses and entrepreneurs from around the world, according to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Foreign office said that Annual investment figures has shown that the UK has `maintained its position as the number one destination for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Europe.

For example, the UK has attracted a record number of FDI projects in 2014, the highest in Europe and third in the world after the United States and China.

The UK Pavillion at Milan Expo 2015 is inspired by the journey of the honey bee and highlights the vital role of pollination int he global food chain. "It is a metaphor for how the UK is a hive of innovation and creativity, helping to feed the planet.
