Taliban leader Mullah Omar died two years ago in Pakistan, a spokesman for Afghanistan's security services says.
One of the most wanted leaders of the terror group Taliban died two years ago, according a BBC report Wednesday.
One eyed, Mullah Omar, wanted for protecting Osama bin Ladin died of health problems at a hospital in Pakistan in 2013. Pakistan government officials say they are investigating the claim.
Reports say the reclusive Taliban chief has not been seen in public since 2001.
According to the BBC. Pakistan's government and security services have not commented on the claims so far. They have always denied that Mullah Omar was in their country.
But Fox News report "We are aware of the reports of the passing away of Mullah Omar, the Taliban leader." say Afghan Government official.
