Apple is wooing University students with a "Buy a Mac for uni. Receive a pair of Beats headphones" offer aimed at boosting the sale of its iconic computer brand.

In a short news release today, Apple advises uni students to Save on a Mac, with education pricing and receive, in addition a pair of Beats Solo2 On-Ear Headphones.

Apple says every Mac associated with the offer comes with amazing software, like Keynote, Pages, Numbers, iMovie, iBooks andiTunes U, "to take your education even further."

Those who are tempted by the deal stand to save up to £159 on an eligible Mac, with education pricing as well as receiving a pair of Beats Solo2 On-Ear Headphones.
