Female Outlook: Why Beauty Is Not All About The Curves

Kim Kardarshan has it and does not hold back from flaunting it, Beyoncee too, she has it and flaunts it. What about Serena Williams? She has it too..but she is too focused on powering to victory that, maybe, she forgets to flaunt it, or so the haters believe.

Looking at the photo above, you see the latest hallmark of any curved beauty. They can't stay off their camera phones, checking and rechecking, that the curves, the eyeliners, the hairs, are still as they `should' be.

Some have even lost their lives trying to make sure of that that they forget to take precautionary measures.

In Turkey, a young lady was electrocuted on top of a train, trying to get the ultimate selfie after she climbed onto the roof, stripped off and raised her leg while heaving or adjusting her curves for the ultimate snap. That was the end of the dream.

The young woman who traveled thousands of miles to Thailand to have implants and achieve the ultimate buttocks died in the process. So did another who traveled to the US for similar mission. Both were from Londoners.

But despite their efforts, most curved women do not pull the most men. Some still venture out and return to their lonely flats - without a man.

Curves have become fashionable among contemporary women as well as synonymous with beauty. But is beauty all about the curves? 

For all their show-offs on facebook and instagram, most curved women actually hide their curves well inside their clothes before they go out. The reason, I am told, is to hide their insecurities - "every lady has her insecurities" said one lady.

It the curved body the perfect body? "Hardly", said Charlene, a sales assistant in a beauty store in Greenwich. "It's actually difficult for a lady to know which look will get her the right attention on a given day or occasion because she wouldn't know the mind of the other person."

"What ladies do, is to try different body types and looks till they find the ones they are most comfortable going out in." she says, adding "when the goal is achieved, that look would have served its purpose."

Women need and wear different outlooks for different occasions. That is why a curvy executive will do all she can to hide her curves and show up at work looking very corporately dressed, if she wants to be taken seriously by colleagues. But, it is often different when they go to parties.

Whereas men very easily find and sustain a particular outlook, one thing with the ladies is never to say a `permanent outlook' with the ladies.
