MARS: I bet you will watch this video OVER & OVER AGAIN, AMAZING!!

by Benson Agoha | Space Science

Once in a while, a new documentary - from researchers at NASA. We give it to those guys.
This one is the latest documentary on Mars. Questions answered and hopefully perspectives shifted.

MARS: The red planet.
Maybe decisions reversed - such as the over 1000 volunteers who have indicated interest in heading over to colonise Mars on a one way journey.

Mars, the fourth planet from the Sun, is always some 34 million miles away from the earth, and very cold - much too cold on daily basis that it is deemed inhospitable for humans. It plunges down to about -100 degrees every night and visibility isn't as good as earth.

It's surface is oxidized and its soil is thought to contain very harmful chemical compounds not suitable for our skin.

The Planet also contains dust storms that span up to 12 miles long and analysts say it was a bad sign that life, as we know it, cannot be sustained there.

Evil Dust Storm that span 12 miles happen on Mars.
But although, man machine has been examining Mars for nearly two years, no evidence of life has been detected. Still, scientists are convinced that the planet was once warm enough to contain liquid water from evidence of its wavy terrain.

Mars is also home to a very tall dormant volcanic mountain - much taller that earths Mt Everest.

One wonders whether humans are searching for life in a wrong way by seeking to find earth-like creatures, even if they are strange looking.

Hard to say, but perhaps one may wonder if those who had hastily volunteered to go there may now change their mind with the discovery of earth 2.0 located closer to home, last month.
