David Cameron Announces £300 Million Infrastructure Aid Package To Caribbean Countries

Prime Minister David Cameron has announced a new infrasture aid package worth £300 million for Caribbean countries, a new video shared on social media confirms.

Speaking from a Primary school in Grenada, on the video, the PM who had earlier visited the Caribbean country of Jamaica, said the the money is to be used to help build infrastructure such as bridges, roads, ports - things that will help them to grow and help them trade with Britian. 

The PM said he had just seen one of the bridges that needed to be rebuilt and that making the contribution will help Britain build on strong relations with the caribbean.

His visit is the first time a British Prime Minister to the caribbeean counries for many many years.

Many people of caribean region making incredible contributions to our country. Many British nationals living in the caribbean.
The PM said rebuilding infrastructure in those countries is among the things Britain can do to rebuild relations because mutual relations run so deep.

On an earlier visit to Jamaica, the PM confirms Britain would build a new Prison worth £25 million for so that, in line with Britain's new policy, Jamaican's in UK prison can be sent home to their country to complete their jail sentences.
