Sharing is Caring, say Woolwich Coffee Loving Couple

by Benson Agoha | The Morning Fix

We bet we will find you are like us when you order your coffee - placing order for two separate cups of what is, for most people a daily ritual - even when accompanied by loved ones.
* Two is company - Costa's large double handle cup.
This past week, most mornings have been routine at our local Costa bar. The bars throws its doors open at 5am, shortly after words, the troops begin to sign the daily register.

The queue soon forms, orders placed, collection made, the sprucing up table beckons, the mix, the stir and you and your partner or colleague are out of the bar - or find a sit to enjoy your brew.

Wednesday morning saw this Nepalese couple show they are still very much in love. They walk in and the man head to the bar. He comes back with a cupped large brew, with double handles. Only one cup and slices of cake on a separate saucer.

He returned to the bar to pick up another cup ( a singe ) for his train journey and we ask his wife.
* Cake: Morning and afternoon delight

"Did you share"?

"Yes", she answered.

"How did you manage"? we asked

"Like children, to be honest", she replied, adding "he drinks with both hands, and passes over to me, I drink and passes over to him."

"Makes for a fun start to the day", we said

"Sure does", she replied, then added "sharing is caring".

Husband returns clutching his new brew. We shake hands and they leave.

How many of you will share a cup of coffee with another - even if it is a large one? Go on let's hear it.
