The world succeeded in reaching a deal on climate change to lower carbon emission substantially in order to save the planet for destruction.

The deal was met with loud applause, which erupted in the conference hall outside Paris. Some 190 countries took part in reaching the decision - a sign it was a very popular agreement.

In a statement, PM David Cameron said: "Today is an important day. The talks at the COP21 conference in Paris have culminated in a global deal, with every country in the world now signed up to play its part in halting climate change. In other words, this generation has taken vital steps to ensure that our children and grandchildren will see that we did our duty in securing the future of our planet."
Still, the agreement was described as not being the `perfect one' by President Obama in a speech. But he said this agreement was significant as it showed what the world can accomplish "if we stand as one".

It means all 190 countries committed to reducing or reign in their greenhouse gas emissions.

The negotiations of which, according to Associated Press, have been going on for more than four years, after earlier failure.

"Loud applause shook the large Paris conference hall where the talks were being held after French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius gaveled final approval of the agreement earlier in the day. Some delegates started crying. Others embraced," according to a report by Fox News.

This agreement is so ambitious that every nation has to set and commit, to implementing their own gas emission climate control program.

"Moreover, this agreement sends a powerful signal, that the world is finally committed to a low carbon future and it has the potential to unleash investment and innovation in clean energy, at a scale, we have never seen before." President Obama said.

He said implementation may not be easy and the road may be rough, but he said the important thing is that it sets a positive tone for the controlling green house gases.

He said we "cannot be complacent, but our generation will see some of the benefits of building a clean energy economy - jobs created, money saved. We may not live to see the full benefits, but that's ok.

“In short, this agreement will mean less of pollution that threatens our planet. Full implementation of this agreement and will pave the way for more progress in stages over the years. It sends a powerful signal: a low carbon future, in clean energy at a scale we have never seen before.”
