Petitioner Moves To Ensure That Lee Rigby 's killers never Receive A Penny In Compensation.

by Benson Agoha | Woolwich

A petitioner who aimed to raise 10,000 signatures to persuade PM, David Cameron not to allow any form of compensation for the Killers of Lee Rigby two years ago, has notched up support in just a few days.

Graham Knott of Pinner, United Kingdom, began the campaign after media reports say Michael Adebolajo was suing the Prison Service for loosing two teeth while in their customer in Belmarsh Prison.

In a petition, addressed to the PM, Mr. Knott said: "Lee Rigby 's killers should never receive a penny of compensation money for whatever happens to them in prison, or their families."

He said, "If any money is awarded it should be put in a trust fund for Lee Rigby's son. The day they killed Lee they should have lost their human rights."

Over 5,000 supporters signed the petition in just three days, and the forth day, more than 8,000 have signed.

Meanwhile, last month, The Royal Borough of Greenwich revealed a momorial stone is to be constructed in memory of the former serving soldier who was killed on the streets of Woolwich on May 22nd, 2013.
