Why not get yourself a Greenwich One Card and stay active for 2016? Since its launch in November, the One Card has already proved hugely popular with over 2,700 local residents signing up already.
For residents keen to start the New Year by burning off a few calories, the Royal Borough’s leisure centres offer Greenwich One Card holders a range of really good deals including,
inclusive access for £46.25 per month; 10 per cent discount on pay and play activity prices;
30 - 50 per cent discounts for eligible residents aged over 60 or on benefits.
Getting your Greenwich One Card is easy and completely free of charge; you can sign up online at the Royal Borough’s website or collect your card at any library or leisure centre.
Cllr Denise Scott-MacDonald, the Royal Borough’s Cabinet Member for Culture, Creative Industries and Community Wellbeing, said: “New Year is a time when many people look to make positive changes in their lifestyle and start exercising more and the Royal Borough is supporting residents in getting active with the Greenwich One Card. Whether it’s swimming, using the gym or going to exercise classes, the One Card will give residents complete access to leisure facilities as well as great value for money.”
On 16 December, councillors were welcomed at Town Hall in Woolwich where they signed up for their new Greenwich One Card.
