Shiloh 2015 Ends On A High For Members Of The Winners' Chapel Family

by Benson Agoha | Events

"SHILOH" is the name for the annual gathering of all members of the Living Faith Church Worldwide a.k.a The Winners' Chapel Family. It is church's equivalent of a pilgrimage every December.

It is held at their Campus Headquarters in Otta, Lagos Nigeria. The 2015 edition of the programm has just come to an end - on a high.

If you were there, you must, no doubt have been blessed immensely with the rich insights derived from the teachings all through the 5-day event which held between Tuesday 9th - Saturday 12th of December, 2015.

This year's event drew visitors from 55 nations, with delegates and representatives taking part in the flag-waving parade of nations.

By the fourth day, the event was being telecast live to some 180 countries around the world, with viewing centres scattered in many of them being flashed as their churches are featured.

There were divers instant miracles and testimonies, many of which were not featured. There also thousands of stunning testimonies from those who attended the 2014 version of the program.

Miracles are not in new in Winners Chapel and for church members, each miracle is listened to as source of inspiration and to further their exposure to the ways the Gospel of Jesus touches lives. But some testimonies are just too strange to be believed - even for church members. Yet, they are real and testifiers often have no difficulty providing the proof of their healing.

Take for example testimonies about the evacuation of unborn child from her mothers womb by doctors, yet she delivered her baby on the due date.

Or the metal plate and rotten bones that fell off from the shoulder of one man, without any opening - effectively ending his many years of pain and torment.

If told without accompanying evidence, one would be tempted to cast doubt on the story, but the evidence was there.

If that hardly believable, even harder was the man with elephantiasis from whose legs dozens of heavy metal fell off, produced and shown to the congregation live and telecast to the world. It is simply breath-taking the diverse miracles taking place at the commission.

For an event so huge, the church took no chances with security arrangements and despite the numerous guards and church workers on duty throughout the campus, the church ensured total overhead drone coverage of the entire campus, enabling the campus and the surrounding stretch to be filmed from a silent hovercraft.

The popular theme of the Shiloh 2015 Edition was "From Glory To Glory" - a kind of password to what church members should expect to happen in their lives - if they obeyed their prophets and served the Lord their God.

In many respects, Shiloh 2015 was a massive success - in all the ramifications of the word in fact. But if the church has set miles-stones with what it has accomplished and continues to accomplish, what is more exciting is what is to come.

Rather fittingly, the theme "From Glory To Glory" was as much to be demonstrated by the Church itself, as it is a guide to practicing worshipers for the coming year.

The congregation learnt, for example, that the Church is embarking on a new iconic and gigantic project, the first of its kind - to build an all inclusive, 100,000 capacity Worship Bowl, fitted with a rotating Alter.

It features a world class design produced by Architects in Bishop Oyedepo's own Covenant University.

The structure features two 12-story towers at its entry point. The pair will host the International Headquarters of the Living Faith Church World-wide.

There will also be halls for the church's iconic WOFBI Bible School within the stadium-like enclosure; a Dominion Bookstore; an Audio Visual Theatre; a 10,000 capacity Children's Church; A Shopping Mall; a Food Court; A Concourse or (Circulation Lobby).

Other features include water fountains at strategic points around the building and different car parks that will be alternated by the different services that the church runs - currently five services a day.

A proposed 1,000-acre land space has been secured for the building, and another 500 acres will be used to build hostels for the different nations that are represented at Shiloh events to make it easy for them to be registered and housed and for tourists to be guided around during a visit. It will be commissioned in the next one year.

Master copies of all teachings, testimonies and prophetic declarations at Shiloh 2015 were recorded and will be mass produced in the coming days for anyone who may desire them.
