Why Completion Of 170-Room Royal Arsenal Hotel, Woolwich Would Be Delayed

The Royal Arsenal Hotel under construction has been dismantled - all cabin rooms taken down, loaded up and taken away.

The hotel - being constructed out of a combination of concrete and fitted Cabin rooms, was initially billed for completion by the summer of 2014, but contractor delays has kept it unfinished ever since.

In early 2015 work on its fit-out was halted because of complaints that the cabins were substandard and badly fitted.

At the time work was halted on it, contractors were already having the window glasses fitted in the hope of handing over the project to management - till the poor quality of work was discovered.



In late November 2016, the cabins, already lay-in-place were taken don one after another, loaded onto trailers and driven
