Sunday, February 14 was celebrated worldwide as Valentines Day - a day set aside globally for expression and extension of love to others.
But for Boko Haram it was a day to target rival soldiers. A 39 year old Lt Colonel from Cameroon was the latest victim of land mines laid by the terror group.
Lt.Col. Beltus Kwene (above) was among 12 Cameroonian soldiers whose vehicle hit a mine in Tumbum-Kare, Cameroon on Valentine Day.
He died from injuries sustained after the mine attack. He is survived by a wife and six children.
