You may say you are a traditional person, but how are you showing it off? One African woman showed that tradition can be creatively assertive.
As can be see from the photo above, it is not just high priests and goddesses that still feel closest to culture.
The woman attended an event wearing clothing partly made of palm-fruits for head-tie, ear rings, necklace and bra. Even her wrists were adorned with a bangle made of palm fruits.
To match it all up, her handbag was made of palm-fronts too. Only her wrapper was made of textile clothing.
The woman was photo-graphed in a village in Cross river State, in Eastern Nigeria.
