In A World That Favour Women, Some Love For Fatherless Boys Go A Long Way

by Benson Agoha | Charity

In an article on charity in 2014, I argued that is one of the foremost pivots on which our world revolves and in `Understanding The Concept Of Charity' I attempted to show how and why charity is necessary.

My articles on charity were not sexist and made no attempt to look at specific target segments for charity. However, in a world that overwhelmingly favour girls and mothers, this South Carolina point makes for an appreciable welcome development.

According to the story a teacher in South Carolina, a state with so many baby mama's but few baby dadys, wanted to do something for boys who don't have a Father in their lives and started this association called the "Gentlemen's Club".

In it boys without father-figures in their homes or live attend to learn how to proper shake hands as a man, make eye to eye contact that help them acquire boldness necessary to survive in a sharkish survivalist world.

He even goes a way farther, buying them shirts and ties if they can't afford them. The result is the photo above.

God bless him, wrote Jonathan Streeton, who shared the story on LinkedIn, and said there is now doubt "he is changing the course of these boys lives."

With the looks on the faces of those boys on the picture, who can argue with that?

What are you doing to change perspectives and positively alter the direction of people you come across in life?
