Some Foods Are Not For Breakfast, As Elaine David Shows Why That Big Plate of Eba Is Not `Bigmanship',

Working today? Elaine David shows why some meals are not for your breakfast.

More than 30 per cent of us start our days on an empty stomach thinking we don't have time for breakfast, or that skipping it will help shed extra pounds.

A large number of people also believe the type of food they eat in the morning does not matter. What matters to them is the ability to fill their stomachs with anything readily available for breakfast.

It's not just the availability of food that matters, but what also matters is getting the right food into our mouths.

A lot of the things we eat go along way to affect our ability to be effective both at work and in our various interactions with people all through the day.

Picture this scenerio, you are supposed to be part of a long meeting, you get super-prepared, sleep early, but unfortunately, you find yourself sleeping throughout the course of the meeting--you forgot you ate a large plate of Eba in the morning.

A big plate of eba with assorted condiments on a morning is a recipe for dizziness and laziness throughout the day.

Theses are the following Nigerian-made foods you shouldn't have as breakfast for work. Actually, avoid them like a plague!

1. Swallows: eba, semo, amala, fufu etc
2. Beans: of any kind and style
3. Pap
4. Yam

Next time you think of eating these foods for Breakfast, shove them back into the refrigerator for later, preferably dinner!

Remember: A big Plate of Eba is not `Bigmanship'.
