The Only Solar Eclipse Of The Year Occur In The Far East, Watch It Now

by Benson Agoha | Space Science

NASA says it is the only eclipse of the year and made the most of the opportunity to capture it - while we slept. It occurred in the far east.

In collaboration with the Exploratorium in San Francisco and the National Science Foundation NASA provided live coverage of the 2016 total solar eclipse from Micronesia, on March 8.

The fully eclipsed sun was visible from only a few Pacific islands, but the live broadcast made the phenomenon available to millions of people around the world.

The solar eclipse finished in the skies above Australia and NASA captured it from start to finish.

If you haven’t seen one before, this is what they look like (hint: dark!).
