Disruption On South Eastern Network Due To Mishap At Hither Green Station

Trains to and from the City will not be calling at Hither Green, following a mishap at the station. South Eastern has revealed the report of a train striking a person at the station, resulting in all trains being stood down in the area.

Passengers hoping to board trains from Dartford through Hither Green are being asked to board trains looking to take alternative routes.
It is not clear if the individual died or the extent of his injuries but all trains are suspended through the area.

Trains through Woolwich Arsenal route are not being affected and as of this moment, emerging highlights include:

* Ticket holders are advised to present same to Bus Drivers as London buses are accepting tickets on any "reasonable routes between London, Dartford and Orpington."

* London Underground are accepting South Eastern tickets on all reasonable routes between all terminal stations and Southern Rail are also accepting valid tickets on routes between London Bridge and Tonbridge, according to South Eastern.

* Any Cannon St - Ramsgate via Medway towns passengers are advised to please use Victoria services instead this afternoon.

@SouthernRailUK accepting our tickets on all reasonable routes.

* Trains from Ramsgate and Folkestone via Ashford will be diverted into, and out of Victoria until further notice.
