A local by-election for one seat in the Glyndon ward was held on 5 May 2016.
A local by-election for one seat in the Glyndon ward was held on 5 May 2016.
With a total of 2,583 votes (57% of the votes cast), Tonia Ngozi Ashikodi was elected the new Councillor for the Glyndon Ward.
The complete result was:

The turnout was 41.5%. The other two Councillors for Glyndon Ward are Don Austen and Peter Brooks.
