Greenwich Refugee Aid Appeal - Help GRAce To Help Refugees

GRAce (Greenwich Refugee Aid: clothing, essentials), a local charity is launching an appeal for donations of clothing and essential supplies to send to the Greek island of Chios for Syrian refugees. A collection is taking place in the Town Hall, Woolwich on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 June from 9am-5pm.

Around 2200 refugees being held in Chios on a semi-permanent basis and there are very few summer clothes available to them. They require items of clothing such as nappies, ready-made formula milk, wipes, towels, shoe s and many other items of clothing.

GRAce collect, sort, pack and distribute donations for refugees in make-shift camps across Europe. They network with other established regional groups to share information and work together.
