Hold Your Own Street Party To Celebrate Her Majesty’s Birthday

by our RBG Correspondent | Woolwich

The Queen’s official 90th birthday is approaching and residents are encouraged to get involved and honour the nation’s longest-reigning monarch by holding a street party on the 12 June.

Your party could take place in your street, or it could be held on a grass area or even in a community hall. Everyone on your street is invited.

There is no fee for road closures for national events, however, check the website for information about licensing requirements.

The deadline for registering your street party is Friday 27 May.

For more information on how to register your street party as well as some handy tips on how to plan it, please visit:

  1. Sounds just amazing! I am in love with these brilliant ideas to celebrate queen’s 90th birthday. However, currently looking for royal themed lofty spaces for my daughter’s birthday and that’s how came to this post.
