Free Employment And Skills Event Scheduled For 30th June By Royal Greenwich

by Benson Agoha

New courses, apprenticeships and job vacancies will be amongst some of the things residents can find out about at an employment and skills event on Thursday 30 June, being hosted by the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

As well as information about a range of apprenticeship options and new job vacancies, residents can find out about the huge variety of courses on offer to help them learn a new skill. Short taster sessions will be available on the day in arts, crafts, textiles, and horticulture so people can have a go and sign up for a course in something that interests them, meet new people and have fun.

There will also be information about courses that help people gain new skills for work or self-employment.

The event is in partnership with JobCentre Plus and will have 30 employers and training providers on hand to answer any questions.

When: Thursday 30 June 2016

Where: The Eltham Centre, 2 Archery Road, London SE9 1HA

Time: 10.00am – 3.00pm

No need to book – just turn up on the day.
