More Than 40 People Injured During Shooting At Florida Nightclub

A shooting incident that broke out in an Orlando, Florida nightclub has reportedly seen more than 40 people injured.

Accorting to Fox News Orlando police say multiple people were injured in the shooting at an Orlando nightclub early Sunday.

Videos on social media also appear to show multiple people wounded. Officials are expected to hold a press conference on the shooting shortly.

Stampered broke out at the Pulse Orlando, a gay nightclub and dance bar after gun shots were fired.

Javier Antonetti, 53, told the Sentinel he was towards the back of the club on a night out with his brother when he heard the shots ring out.


"There were so many, at least 40," he said. "I saw two guys and it was constant, like 'pow, pow, pow,' " Antonetti said.Police have advised people to “stay away from there.”

It is the second incident that is beeing report from Orlando in the past two days after Christina Grimmie, a Voice contestant and YouTube star, was also shot during her concert in Orlando.


Her condition in hospital was initially said to be critical, but the 22 year old star later died following her injuries from the gunshot after a performance at The Plaza Live.

It is not yet clear whether to two are related.
