It's the D-day for Street parties to mark Her Majesty The Queen's 90th birthday. So after Saturday's combined Thanksgiving Church service held at the St. Paul's Cathedral near Bishopsgate for both the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh who turned 95, it's time to party.
Along the long column leading up to Buckingham Palace, preparing are in top gear for a party that will welcome some 10,000 guests.
But this particular party is a ticketed event and only ticket holders are to attend, according to a BBC report. Tickets cost from £150 but every attendee is set to receive a special hamper.
And even though the day appears foggy with the prospect of rain fall, no umbrellas are allowed there. Don't worry, you will be given a plastic rain coat if need be.
In the Royal Arsenal, parties are also expected to take place especially as Royal Greenwich had encouraged residents to hold their own parties.
If you are holding a street party, we want to hear from you.
