Nation-wide Church Services In Honour Of Labour MP Killed In Her Constituency

Church services are being held national wide today in honour of Jo Cox who was kill in her constituency on Thursday after a surgery.

The Labour MP for the
Batley and Spen West Yorkshire constituency was only elected to parliament on May 7, 2015, but has torched many lives within that short time.

Prime Minister David Cameron and Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn were joined by several other top ranking politicians as the visited the site of her murder to pay their respects.

Her younger sister and only sibling read out glowing tributes to her on Saturday, describing her as "perfect", even as members of her constituency expressed shock at the murder.

As tributes poured in from around the world, her killer was arraigned in Westminster on Saturday and told the court his name was "Death To Traitors, Long Live Britain." He is being detailed at Belmarsh Prison in Thamesmead till Tuesday when he will be formerly arraigned at the Old Bailey.

Jo Cox MP was shot and stabbed multiple times in
Birstall on Thursday 16 June 2016, where she had been due to hold a constituency surgery. She died from her injuries about an hour later in hospital.

A man who tried to save her was also stabbed in the stomach.

She is survived by her husband Brendan Cox and two young boys.
