Nigeria to Concession Four Airports Using The PPP Arrangement

As Nigeria is now open for business, Nigeria's Minister of State for Aviation, Sirika Hadi, today told a business group in UK that Nigeria will concession 4 airports through the PPP arrangement.

While attending the UKTI organised week long activity, taking place in London to highlight business opportunities in Nigeria, the former pilot the Nigerian government will concession 4 airports in the country through PPP arrangement.

PPP arrangement, short for Public-Pivate Partnerships Arrangement, aims to bring private investors and managers into public sector organizations to improve operational efficiency.

The Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos is already receiving a boost with a Chinese investor building a new airport building besides the old one.

The Lagos State government is already using such arrangement to execute large scale projects in the state.

* UK Trade & Investment is hosting a week long activity in London this week to highlight business opportunities in Nigeria. The Nigeria Trade & Investment Road Show is tagged "Nigeria Open for Business".
