Celebration At Animal Shelter As All Inmates Adopted

Staff of a facility sheltering animals in South Florida have been jubiliating after all the dogs in their kennel cages were adopted.

A video posted on Twitter showed staff celebrate the empty cages.

The shelter houses animals without homes, especially the ones rescued without claim or before they are reunited with their owners.

Pet owners who cannot afford to care for their dogs sometimes simply abandon them outdoors, leaving pets rescue agencies to recover the dogs and house them.  Other dogs stray from homes and miss their way back.

NowThis, which posted the video said "for the first time ever, the kennel cages at this South Florida animal shelter are empty because all the dogs have been adopted."

The tweet has received more than 1000 retweets and 5200 likes.  One follower wondered how many of the dogs "are really in forever homes, or “I’m bored” homes?" adding "Hoping for the best."
