COVID-19 - 389 New Cases Take Total To 8,733

Nigeria's confirmed coronavirus cases have surged towards ten thousand with 389 new cases announced by the NCDC last night.

Nigeria's Disease Control Agency said Lagos had 256 of the new cases - taking the states total cases to 4,012. Following Lagos was Katsina with 23 and Edo with 22.

Adamawa and Akwa Ibom states had 11 new cases each while Imo, Borno, Ogun and Anambra sit at the bottom of the list with 1 each.

NCDC said 2,501 have now been discharged while 254 have died.
