COVID-19 - Kano State Government Extends Lockdown By Another Week

Kano State, which recorded 64 new cases has announced the extension of the state lock-down.

State Commissioner for information announced the new measures, according to Media reports quoting Channels TV.

The Report by Legit said "In a bid to further combat the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the Kano state government has announced a one-week extension of the lockdown imposed."

Malam Muhammad Garba, the state commissioner for information said the decision to extend the lockdown in the state was reached after due consultations with the federal government and key stakeholders in the health sector.
