COVID-19 - Total Confirmed Cases Inches Towards 5000 Mark

Nigeria's total confirmed cases of the Coronavirus is now 4,971, following 184 new cases recorded on Wednesday, according to the latest figures released by the NCDC.

Lagos is still on top of the list with 51 cases, followed by Jigawa state with 23, and Bauchi and Katsina sharing 3rd position with 16 each.

Kano which imposed addition week of lock-down following a spike two days ago, occupy the fourth position with 14 new cases.

The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Rivers state, share the 5th spot with 10 cases each.

Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Anambra, Plateau and Niger States occupy the bottom position with 1 case each.

The NCDC said 1070 people have now been discharged while 164 are dead.
