COVID-19 -NCDC's Report Of 226 New Cases Takes Total To 6,401

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC reported 226 new cases on Tuesday, taking total of confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Nigeria to 6,401.

 Lagos remains on top of list with 131 new cases followed by Ogun with 25 and Plateau with 15. Enugu and Bayelsa states took bottom of the list with 1 new case each.

NCDC says 1,734 patients have so far been discharged, having fully recovered but one more patient died, taking the total mortality to 192.

A breakdown of the total cases by state so far shows that Lagos has 2,755 followed by Kano with 842 and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja coming third with 427.

Abia Anambara and Benue occupy the bottom of the list with a total of 5 cases each.
