COVID-19 - NCDC's Latest Update Takes Total Confirmed Case Past 18,000

A report last night by the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control said the coronavirus has now been confirmed in 18,480 Nigerians. The report follows the latest update which put new confirmed cases to 745.

Lagos tops the list with 280 new cases, followed by Oyo with 103 while Ebonyi was third on the list with 72. The Federal Capital Territory was fourth with 60.

Yobe, Osun, and Nasarawa states occupy the bottom spot with 1 new case each.

NCDC said a total of 6, 307 people have so far been discharged while 475 people have died.
