COVID-19 - Official New Report Of 594 New Cases Takes Total Towards 23,000 Total Past

Last night, NCDC released the latest update on new infections, saying 594 new cases have been confirmed. The total confirmed cases in Nigeria now stands at 22, 614.

Lagos climbed higher with 159 new cases, followed by Delta with 106 and Ondo occupying a distant third position with 44 new cases.

The Federal Capital Territory and Edo tie at 34 each to occupy fourth position just as Oyo and Kaduna followed with 33 each on the fifth position.

Plateau and Taraba occupy the bottom position with 1 new case each.

The agency said it has discharged 7,822 patients so far but 549 died, raising questions about the efficacy of the herbal medicine supplied by Madagascar.
