COVID-19 Takes Back Seat As Anger Rages Across The World Over Death of George Floyd In The Hands Of Police Officers

Last weeks death of a black American, in the hands of police officers, after his neck was reportedly pinned to the ground till he stopped breathing is still topical and anger rages and protests continue across the US.

A Sky News reported today say, American President, Donald Trump has been rushed to the White House Bunker, as protests gathered outside the White House, throwing rocks.

In a recent tweet, Sky News says the US President had been "rushed to White House bunker as hundreds of people protesting over death of George Floyd gather outside, throwing rocks and tugging at police barricades".

Protests are taking place across much of the US following the death which took place on May 25, even though the officer, Derek Chauvin from Minneapoliswas on Friday charged with third-degree manslaughter.

According to the Associated Press, thousands gathered in central London'sTrafalgar Square on Sunday in support of the American demonstrators, notwithstanding ban on crowds because of COVID-19 pandemic.

The crow reportedly chanted "No justice! No peace!" and waved placards with words "How many more?"

Protests have been recorded in Germany, Italy, China, Iran, Canada, Brazil and many other countries., Associated Press said on Sunday.

Famous American Basketballer Michael Jordan said he was truly saddened by the incident.
