COVID-19 - New Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Still High, Says NCDC

Contrary to what many believe, the coronavirus has not disappeared from Nigeria, as a tweet last night by the NCDC showed.

The Nigerian Centre For Disease Control, NCDC, released a list of 119 new cases of confirmed cases across the country, with Lagos still topping the list.

Lagos State had 77 new cases, followed by the FCT with 26 and Plateau coming third with 9.  Edo State had 4, Oyo 2 while Nasarawa had 1.

The disease control office said a total of 62,111 confirmed cases have been recorded so far.  57,571 have discharged while 1,132 have died.
