BOOK YOUR STALL FOR THE GREAT GET TOGETHER FESTIVAL AND ARMED FORCES DAY IN WOOLWICH by Benson Agoha
The Greenwich Council is now taking bookings bookings for stalls at this year's Great Get Together/Armed Forces Day which will take place in Woolwich on 28 June, 2014.
The event due to take place on On Saturday 28 June 2014 will run from 11am to 6pm at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich.
The Council say this event will be the UK's largest Armed Forces Day event and will be combined with the Great Get Together Festival, which itself is the Royal Borough's big summer community celebration.
The Council is now accepting applications from stallholders who want to run a stall at this event.
According to Council website, the event which will take place on a flat, level grassy site will be a free entry event, with many free attractions. There will also be attractions that have a charge.
In 2013, the Council said this event attracted about 32,000 visitors and is optimistic the 2014 event will keep to the same successful formula and are expecting similar numbers of visitors.
