St Helena is also a volcanic tropical Island in the South Atlantic Ocean and very importantly houses also one famous animal - a 184 year old turtle which recently had its first ever bath.
The Giant Turtle, called Jonathan, could be seen coolly receiving a close-up wash without reaction and according to the St Helena government, the spectacular event occurred on March 19, 2016 when, in the grounds of Plantation House, in St Helena Island "the oldest known living land animal on Earth and creakingly old national treasure at an estimated age of 184 years - was washed for the first time in recorded history by vet Dr Joe Hollins".
