The pandemic's grip on Nigeria remains strong even as the government tries to kick-start the economy by getting all sectors working again.

Last night, the disease control office, NCDC, released another report of 156 confirmed new cases in the country, taking the overall total to 54,743.
Of the new cases, Lagos had 36 to climb back to the top of the list, followed by the Federal Capital Territory with 35 and Oyo with 29 in the third position.
Edo, Kwara, Katsina, and Plateau had 2 each while Niger had 1 to occupy the bottom position.
The report show that Lagos has had a runaway record with 18,255 to far, followed by FCT with 5,273 and Oyo with 3,168.
Kogi has had the least record so far with only 5 cases. See the full list below:
