RAINY DAY IN WOOLWICH ARSENAL
It's been raining cats and dogs in Woolwich Arsenal today and the roads are wet. Better to stay indoors if that journey is not urgent. Maybe you should just curl up in bed, read, watch TV or sleep. The way the rain is going, by the time you wake up, you won't have missed much.
One remarkable thing though is that despite the rain, construction works at Tesco's Woolwich Central project is going on. Repaid works at the Woolwich New Road, dug up since the last three weeks, to link potential waste from the new building to the underground drainage passing through Woolwich New Road is being undertaken.
Below are shots from the rainy experience..Enjoy!!
* Though not shot from a vintage position, this Woolwich Central Logo, is simple but remarkable!
* Two workmen are lifted up to 15 meters above ground to prepare the aluminium glass holder frames. 20 meters further on the right, another workman works at the penthouse. Well done guys. You are doing a great job.
* Another group of workmen mix cement on the ground for the refilling of the road. Hopefully this should be opened to traffic soon.
* Bulldozers and lighter equipment were in full swing, scooping, swivling and pouring cement to repaire the road.
* Filled and repaired. Hopefully, the rain will allow the cement to dry without washing it all away.
