WELCOME 2012: GREENWICH CHURCHES READY TO SERVE
The General Gordon Square, Woolwich, was the host of another event by Greenwich Churches in readiness to the 2012 Olympics which kicks off on July 15. The dry, sunny and generally beautiful weather was inviting and a crowd soon gathered. The even was film and telecast live on the Big Screen, who screw showed remarkable proficiency. *An open air Service organised by Greenwich Churches as a united forum for the up coming London Olympics holds today 9th June, 2012 at the Square. Organised with support from the Royal Borough of Greenwich, equipment was provided by St Peters Catholic Church, Woolwich.
* Father Michael and the Bishop officiated in the event
* The Music Team came with the full complement of their equipment of praise.
* The Choir and Music Band of St. Peters helped the audience take part in singing the specified Hymms
