According to a passerby, a loud noise was coming out from an apartment, thought to be at the 5th floor of the 'Ormsby Point' Block, where flats 1 - 42 are located, and voices could be heard from the street below.
The Police were called in and soon,a police car arrived the front of the building. Officers secured the front entrance.
Shortly, afterwards, another Police van arrived with about five officers. Four headed to the back of the building and both exit points were covered.
When Woolwich Online arrived the building, there were 4 Police Officers at the back talking to a man wearing a hood. Three other Officers were at the front, also talking to anther man.
We aked a group of four standing nearby with a dog and one girl said they thought it might have been drug related.
Shortly afterwards a man was taken into custody.
But when Woolwich Online asked a Police officer, he told us that they responded to a call for assault and that one man has now been arrested.
The man was arrested for assault, not drugs.
