It is now clear - and can be discussed by interested parties that social media use is generally on the increase, despite what reports say to the contrary.
A recent report by dustn.tv show that at the top of this list, Facebook remains comfortably the social network with the highest number of registered users - amassing up to 1.2billion.
Despite the anger and frustration expressed against facebook, because of the bad users, it remains the network with the biggest number of users.
It said the study by Greg Miernicki and François Beaufort who released their findings through a live graph of Google+ users revealed the current number of registered users.
This is a milestone because, though often not broadcast loud, Google+ has quietly amassed more the 1.01billion users, in style. This is also instructive, because it shows vector of future social media dominance.
The simple message is .. `don't mess with Google+'.
Twitter has more than 500 million and is catching up fast.
Instagram is at 150 million and Pinterest is at 70 Million.
No doubt, social media use is continually evolving and observers are watching with keen interest.
