* Beautiful - Rolls Roys for Weddings.
A rare Indian spectacle was on display, Sunday Morning in front of the Gurdwara Sahid Temple, Calderwood Street, Woolwich as a mega rich Indian male wedded.
The dude, decked out and looking very posh wearing a flamboyant cultural attire, arrived in the passenger seat of an immaculate white Rolls Royce.
Behind him in the car were two women, presumably family members. All remained seated as pressmen swarmed around it, filming, clicking and flashing their cameras.
When the women left the car, he remained inside, smiling gently as they filmed him at close range.
With his bride already waiting inside the temple, traffic outside came to a halt. He emerged gently and stood outside for a little longer as organisers rallied to arrange the order of procession.
Inside the compound on the ride were invited guests from the Groom's side, all wearing red scarves - and waiting. Outside the temple were other guests also waiting to accompany the Bridegroom inside. They were all wearing yellow scarves.
Unfortunately, admittance was by invitation only and not even a personal introduction and intervention by a VIP could gain Woolwich Online entrance into the ceremony. It was exclusively Indian, they said.
Invited guests were, apparently carefully chosen too because, of all the guests waiting outside with the Bridegroom and those wearing red scarves, only White male was among them. The rest appeared to be of Asian origin - presumably Indians.
Woolwich Online understands the importance of photos at times like this and apologise for not capturing the full spectacle for you.
