APPLE'S NEW iPAD RELEASE IS ON `AIR' by Benson Agoha

Apple has released its latest product, a new iPad called "iPAD AIR".

Wrapped in a beautiful palm-friendly unibody construction, which the maker says "strengthens and simplifies the enclosure", the new device weighs only a pound and 7.5mm thin.

Apple said the new ipad is a "desk-top class architector but without a desk-top required".

It comes with a new 64-bit chip called `A7', which the mobile phone giant said delivers killer performance, up to two times faster CPU and graphics performance than the one before it.

Moreover, users get to do all this with the battery lasting up to 10hrs and, it is much thinner and lighter than the previous ones.

The new device also runs on apples new operating software - the newly released i0S 7 making both (ipad Air and i0S 7) poised to enhance one another.

Apple says "You have to hold iPad Air to believe it."
